Please adjust your shower head

Using less water in the bathroom can reduce your water bill (if you’re on a water meter), energy use, bills, carbon emissions and impact on your local environment as less energy is needed to pump, heat and treat the water. And there’s a really easy way to use less water when you shower – use an energy-saving shower head. According to German plumbing fixtures manufacturer Grohe, it’s possible to save up to 50% of water when you shower because eco shower head work by adding air to the water, but smaller nozzles ensure the volume and strength of the water stream remain the same, even though less hot water is used.

Now, if you could take a shower at a slightly lower temperature too, you’ll save even more energy. We’re not suggesting you go full on Wim Hof, but a cooler shower could have health benefits too.
