Our expert-led course is ideal for plumbers, heating engineers and construction professionals who want to expand their skills in renewable heating. Whether you’re already fitting gas boiler systems or are looking to begin installing heat pumps soon, our sessions are designed to impart confidence and knowledge when working with the Intergas Xceed Monobloc system. We keep numbers in each session low so you’re assured plenty of practical time with the system, and our course suits all experience levels, from new installers to experienced engineers wanting refresher training.

We offer dedicated training courses for all our advanced heating systems, helping you to learn the specific skills you’ll need for every type of installation.

Xtend is our split and monobloc hybrid solution, pairing an Intergas combi boiler with a 5kW air source heat pump to cut gas use by up to 82.5%.

Xceed, on the other hand, is our all-electric air source heat pump, designed for homes moving away from gas completely.

In this course, you’ll train specifically on the Xceed system. But we also offer a range of other dedicated training sessions, including our Intergas boiler installation course, a hybrid air source heat pump course, and our renewable hybrid heating training too.

The advanced Xceed air source heat pump course builds on the introduction course. It explores the extensive flexibility and programmability of the indoor unit (IDU). Delegates will gain in-depth experience reconfiguring systems for a wide range of applications beyond standard manufacturer presets.

A strong focus is placed on the self-generating commissioning report, supporting compliance, efficiency monitoring and service documentation. Intergas air source heat pumps are some of the most advanced, efficient systems on the market today. Proper installation is the best way to ensure your customers get the most out of their heat pumps. Who better to learn installation best practices from than our engineers themselves?

Our specialist team can give you insider knowledge and tips to make installation a breeze and help you deliver the best results for your customers. We’ll help you understand everything from system fitting to usage, maintenance and diagnostics.

According to government figures, between July and September of 2025, there were almost 500% more air source heat pumps installed in the UK than in the same period in 2020. A combination of government incentives such as the Boiler Upgrade Scheme and increasing environmental concern is driving homeowners to adopt air source heat pumps in increasing numbers.

Our air source heat pump training equips you with all the skills you need to take advantage of this rising demand, helping homeowners upgrade their home heating with energy-efficient Intergas heat pumps.
